Pacem In Vita Institute (PIV) invites papers in all business and health
disciplines as well as research on interdisciplinary topics involving leadership,
martial arts, decision making, health, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, discipline,
theologies, green practices, innovation, balance, productivity, management, and
marketing.
Submission policies & procedures
1.
Submission
deadline is April 20, 2008.
2.
Submit
an electronic copy in MS Word as an attachment to Stella@PacemInVita.org. Maximum
20 pages long including references and tables.
3.
Submission
must be entirely original: not under concurrent consideration, scheduled for
presentation elsewhere, or previously published.
4.
The
title page must include the name, affiliation, title/academic rank, mailing address,
phone number, and the email address of the author (s).
5.
At
least one of the authors must certify his/her intention to register for and
attend the conference to present the paper if it is accepted.
6.
For
symposia, tutorials, and workshops include the topic, brief description, time/facilities
needed, and the name of session leaders, and submit an electronic copy of the proposal
to Stella@PacemInVita.org.
7.
Author
(s) may choose to submit papers for presentation only.
8.
Abstracts
will not be considered for publication.
Review process
Papers are blind reviewed by three
reviewers. Authors must avoid revealing their identity or affiliation within
the body of the paper and/or the references.
Publication of the accepted papers
If accepted for
presentation and publication, authors will be notified and sent guidelines for
modifying the paper for publication. The final version of the paper must follow
the publication guidelines, and be emailed
to Stella@PacemInVita.org
as an attachment in MS Word by
June 30, 2008. Papers will be published in the Journal of
Martial Arts and Health, Journal of Asian Martial Arts, or Journal of
Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Decision making.
The completed registration
form and the appropriate fee must be mailed by May

Presenters
are expected to bring their own laptops, and PIV will provide the PowerPoint Computer
Projection System.
Registration
The
Registration fee is US $230 ($90 for full-time students) by April 15, 2008. To
register for the conference without a paper submission, send the completed
registration form and the appropriate fee to:
